Back on its 2nd year, #BOTB continues to acknowledge the commitment, resilience and exceptional contribution of entrepreneurs.
As part of our "You are not alone. You are awesome!" campaign, #BOTB 2023 will be recognising business owners who continue to show growth, innovation, advocacy, mentorship, and noteworthy outcomes in their business and in the community. Similarly, the awards aim to encourage and support the younger generation in their entrepreneurial pursuits.
Award Categories and Key Dates
- #BOTB 2023 will award the following categories for small businesses owners and entrepreneurs. Nominations are now closed and the finalists will be announced soon.

- Ten Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs - 35 years old and below
- Start-up of the Year - started Jan 2022 onwards
- Rising Star of the Year - overcame challenges and continues to exhibit growth
- Innovator of the Year - market changer and implementing innovation (process, services, technology, etc)
- Business Mentor of the Year - providing support and inspiration to others
- Advocate of the Year - impacting community through their cause and campaigns
- Entrepreneur of the Year - exceptional outcomes with their business and endeavors
